Education as a natural unfolding.
THE METHOD
Maria Montessori's method is over a century old — and more relevant than ever. It is not a philosophy of how children learn when given the right conditions and materials to explore concepts.
RECOGNITION
IMF Flagship Status.
Nivriti Montessori holds a flagship recognition from the Indian Montessori Foundation (IMF) — the highest marks of authentic Montessori practice in India.
“The child has a mind able to absorb knowledge. He has the power to teach himself.”
— Maria Montessori
THE PHILOSOPHY
Six principles that guide every day.
01
The Prepared Environment
Every material, shelf, and inch of space is arranged to invite independent exploration. Order and beauty are not incidental — they are the first lesson.
02
The Absorbent Mind
Children from 0–6 absorb their environment effortlessly. We honour this by surrounding them with richness, language, and purposeful activity.
03
Sensitive Periods
Children pass through windows of intense interest — for language, order, movement, and more. We watch for these and offer exactly the right material at the right moment.
04
Freedom within Limits
True freedom is not the absence of structure — it is the presence of purposeful choice. Children choose their work, pace their learning, and take ownership of their time.
05
Uninterrupted Work Cycles
Three-hour work cycles, free from interruption, allow concentration to develop fully — the foundation of all future academic and personal competence.
06
The Directress as Observer
Our AMI-trained educators guide from the periphery. They observe, record, present, and then step back — trusting the child to do the work.
PROGRAMMES
Two stages. One continuum.

"To assist a child, we must provide him with an environment which will enable him to develop freely."
— Maria Montessori
